Make your own Cartoons! These week-long adventures teach kids to bring their stories to life through animated movement. Participants will explore the process of animation through drawings, cutout characters, plasticine, and easy to use computer animation programs. Each student will complete a short animated movie with sound and receive a compilation of the class’ work at the end of the camp!

 

SUMMER ANIMATION CAMP FOR KIDS (8-14)

Participants are welcome to attend more than one week of the camp, and will be encouraged to continue work on projects they may have started in the first week. Camps are located on site at The Quickdraw Animation Society.

Fee: $380 for members, $410 for non-members
August 14 – 18, 2017
*note: no camp on August 07 – 11 2017 due to the Heritage Day long weekend.*
 
In this weeklong intensive, creative teens 13 – 18 will imagine and produce their own short animations, including project design, editing, sound production, as well as digital and classical animation techniques. Participants will walk away with their own finished animation and a solid grasp of the equipment and techniques used in animation. Great for teens who like art, computers, comics, movies, or music!
