Summer Time is Animation Time!
Kids ages 8-12 learn to animate drawings, cutout characters and plasticine, animate digitally, and more! In this fun week-long day-camp, participants learn the fundamentals of animation and how to make their very own animated films!
Participants make their own animations with one-on-one instruction, record their own voice acting and edit their films. At the end of the camp they will receive a compilation of the films created throughout the week.

Camp FAQs
Doors open at 8:50am, there is no before care. The camp ends at 4:30pm, however the instructor can stay as late as 5:00pm. All other times need to be discussed with Theresa ahead of time at education@quickdrawanimation.ca
Pick up and drop off occur at the back blue doors of the Quickdraw building to streamline the sign in/sign out process. Please ensure there is a guardian present to sign in a child, and let us know if you give consent for your child to sign themselves out in the event of taking transit.
Quickdraw provides all equipment to bring your animation ideas to life! All we ask is you bring your own food (lunch and snack), a re-sealable water bottle, and a hat/sunscreen for when we go outside to play.
At the end of the week, students are encouraged to bring in their own USB keys to transfer their final films onto their devices however the week after camp we will be emailing you a shared link to a compilation of all films via Dropbox. Ensure the email you provide for registration matches the email you want us to contact you by.
