Taking a look back at 2021-22

It was a big push to get our year end reporting done for the March 1st deadline, but as we dove into the massive spreadsheets and excel formulas it made us feel pretty proud of what we were able to accomplish over the last couple years!

In 2021-2022, we launched our first ever Intermediate Animator Production Residency where Maedeh Mosaverzadeh and Anthony Stewart each created amazing animated short films. We moved our workshops and courses all online, and even held our annual events, the Animation Lockdown and the GIRAF Festival of Independent Animation, online for the second year in a row.

With all the challenges that came with the second year of the pandemic, our community showed up and support us entirely. We were continually blown away and so we want to share our QAS 2021-22 Super-Cut. Enjoy or look back!
