When our students come through the doors the first time, they often take Animation Fundamentals. Once they've completed that course, the most commonly asked question is, "where should I go next?"

This project-focused course led by Quickdraw’s own Carol Beecher, an amazing independent artist with A LOT of experience with project-based grants and animations, will lead you through the steps to get you prepped for production and applying for funds to make it happen. This course will cover best technical practices and advanced techniques, creation of animatics, grant-writing, project pitching, and setting up your production pipeline so your work looks the best it can be. Carol will help you develop your story and refine the pieces to get what you need to make it happen.

The goal of this class is to MAKE a THING with a professional mentor helping you out as you go! This is the natural evolution of our Advanced Animation class, so if you were looking to expand your skills and start making animations, don't miss out on this opportunity!

This is a 12-week in person class for Winter 2025. Please keep checking this page for registration dates to be launched closer to January.
