About Yvonne Mullock

Yvonne Mullock’s practice spans interests in nature and craft; working in mediums such as drawing, sculpture, ceramics, video and textiles for both gallery and site specific installations. Her work is often informed by a process of research, using both people and surroundings as a spring-board for works that are responsive to a specific context.

Recent exhibitions and projects include ‘HIT & MISS’ a collaborative project with the Chinook Guild of Fibre Arts for Esker Foundation Contemporary Art Gallery; ‘Groundwork for Action’ a solo exhibition at Pith, Calgary; ‘Beaver Fever’ at Glasgow’s Project Room and a residency with Fogo Island Arts and Shorefast, Newfoundland.

CJM Scholarship Film: Desktop

Desktop is a short experimental animation that explores sprawling interests of collage, drawing and stop-motion. Using screen capture, numerous windows are played simultaneously to reveal a landscape of chaos and animated world of make-believe and reality.
