APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO AUGUST 19. A 12-month mentor-focused program offered by the Quickdraw Animation Society (QAS) intended to assist neurodivergent Youth (16-25 years of age) in learning animation or animation adjacent processes (gaming, 3D, storyboarding, etc) and discovering potential career pathways.

The Intermediate Animators Production Residency is a production-focused program offered by the Quickdraw Animation Society (or QAS) intended to assist an emerging or mid-level animator in completing an independent animated short film, and targeted towards animators developing their practice.

Recently, Quickdraw has acquired 2 Rokoko Smartsuite II motion capture suits and we're excited to support ONE resident artist to explore the ways this technology intersects with their discipline, depending on their interests and abilities.

QAS and DS4Y are partnering to make a 1-month residency for 1 artist with the expectation that the artist will use procedural or generative technology + projection mapping in their artistic process and exhibition upon completing the residency.
